We are looking for a Research Fellow who is highly skilled in 2D materials and have prior experience in optics with 2D materials to carry out the research project for transport with 2D materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research activities related to optics with 2D materials for twisted systems.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure they align with grant timelines.
  • Ensure project is well-managed to facilitate the progression of research activities in line with grant/project requirements.
  • Lead papers and publish in high-impact journals.
  • Contribute to the drafting of research reports, academic papers, and proposals related to the project.
  • Provide logistical/administrative support pertaining to laboratory operation for the project.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree degree in either material science or applied physics or relevant subject from well-established universities/institutes.
  • The candidate must be highly motivated in multidisciplinary research.
  • Strong proficiency in Quantum materials.
  • Proven research experience in 2D materials is highly desirable and publication track record is an advantage.
  • Independent and can work well with a team.
