The Opportunity
The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Monash University is seeking a Research Fellow (Level A) to join our world-class Drug Discovery Biology team at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS).
This research-only role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge drug discovery efforts, with a focus on pharmacological, biochemical, and biophysical characterisation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs).
Responsibilities
Conducting research aligned with defined project objectives
Applying, analysing and interpreting pharmacological assays (e.g., ligand binding, proximal transducer assays, second messenger assays) to understand GPCR biology
Supporting administrative, operational, and financial aspects of the research program
Collaborating within multidisciplinary research teams
Working under broad direction, the Research Fellow will help drive research outcomes and continue developing their expertise in an internationally recognised academic environment.
