The Luo Lab, based in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, is seeking a highly motivated, goal-driven, and team-oriented Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow in Molecular and Structural Virology to join our team. Our research focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms of RNA virus infection and host defense and structure-guided antiviral development, utilizing interdisciplinary approaches spanning biochemistry, structural biology, virology, and cell biology.
The NTU Institute of Structural Biology provides outstanding infrastructure, including facilities for high-resolution cryo-EM/ET, X-ray crystallography, NMR, and other biophysical techniques.

Key Competencies and Requirements:

  • Candidates should hold a recent Ph.D. degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as structural biology.
  • Prior research experience or laboratory training in structural biology (cryoEM/ET preferably), cell biology, or virology molecular and cellular biology.
  • Applicants should be self-motivated, well-organized, and possess strong communication and technical skills.
  • Candidates must be capable of working independently and collaborating effectively within a highly diverse and interdisciplinary team.
