For more details, please view https://www.ntu.edu.sg/newri We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual to join the Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute (NEWRI) as a Research Fellow. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing research projects, with duties including (but not limited to) project administration, progress monitoring, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and coordination across teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead research teams and projects to achieve defined objectives and deliver impactful outcomes. Conceive and develop novel research ideas to push the frontiers of biotechnology and bioprocesses. Oversee and monitor project progress, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time. Engage, manage, and liaise with stakeholders, including funding agencies, industry partners, and academic collaborators. Supervise and mentor graduate students, while contributing to grant proposal preparation and research publications. Job Requirements: The individual is expected to possess at least a PhD in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field. Prior experience in biotechnology or bioprocesses related work is highly favorable. We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
