POST SUMMARY

The Research Funding Manager plays a leading role in securing and managing the financial resources necessary to drive the School of Physics’ operations and growth initiatives, while focusing on short-term objectives and long-term financial sustainability. Reporting directly to the School’s Director of Research, the Funding Manager is accountable for securing research funding of over €5 million per annum by building successful relationships between the School’s research groups and national and international funding agencies. These actions will enhance the School of Physics’ position as a global research leader, with the goal of exceeding €10 million in annual research funding by 2030.
