Your next career opportunity As the Research Infrastructure Development Manager, you will spearhead the advancement of the University's collaborative research infrastructure strategy, enhancing coordination and platform provisioning. You'll lead a dedicated team, driving continuous improvement in processes and systems, while playing a pivotal role in attracting and retaining top-tier research staff. This position offers you the chance to work across organisational boundaries, influencing key decisions and contributing to the University's research excellence. Your responsibilities will include: Lead Strategic Infrastructure Initiatives: Design, implement, and continuously improve processes and systems for efficient platform management. Manage Collaborative Programs: Oversee the Melbourne Collaborative Research Infrastructure Program, ensuring optimal budget management and performance reporting. Drive Costing and Pricing Projects: Lead the Research Platform Costing and Pricing project to optimise cross-organisational pricing and cost recovery. Enhance Research Infrastructure Operations: Analyse and report on operations to inform strategic planning and future capability initiatives. You may be a great fit if: You will have a strong background in managing research infrastructure platforms, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills, enabling you to influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives in a complex University environment. You may also: Hold a tertiary degree in a technical or business discipline with relevant experience. Possess expertise in operational management of research infrastructure and platform technologies. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders at various levels. Have proven project management and process design capabilities with attention to detail.
