Description
Conducting a landscape analysis of the agricultural community in Sacramento County and surrounding regions; i.e., documenting the size of the worker community, locations, languages spoken, cultural food needs, major employers, other key stakeholders and organizations, and relevant data or prior research findings; Interviewing stakeholders in English and Spanish to understand barriers to food access faced by agricultural workers in this region; Engaging with agricultural workers in the design, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of pilot initiatives impacting their communities; Assisting with research activities, including in-person data collection (surveys, focus groups) in English and/or Spanish, with the possibility of collecting biomarker samples or de-identified health information; Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data; Writing reports and contributing to other materials to document activities and the impact of the project; Performing other related tasks as needed. The position will be remote/hybrid, with 1-2 days per month in our Oakland office. 20 hours per week for 16 weeks Compensation: The hourly rate is determined by the final candidate's qualifications and experience. The budgeted hourly rate that CAFB expects to pay for this position is $35.00 per hour
