Description
The purpose of the internship program is to provide the university student with an opportunity to learn about compliance-driven due diligence and develop professional skills, gain practical knowledge, and experience working life at a global risk consultancy. As part of the team, your main tasks will include media research, working with databases, primary documents and other sources to uncover reputational and criminal issues and ultimate beneficial ownership, as well as making sense of complex corporate structures and identifying possible political and sanctions exposure. This internship is for a period of 6 months. Essential Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree Fluency in English/Spanish languages (both written and spoken) Ability to write clearly, concisely and authoritatively to tight deadlines Conduct media and database research using complex search criteria and following a strict methodology Collaborate with team members across the firm to deliver joint projects Communicate complex topics verbally and in writing effectively Preferred Knowledge of the business, political, and social context of a geographical area Experience of using research techniques, databases, networks, online registers and archives, and research in the general internet Control Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarised in the full job offer.
