Cancer accounts for approximately one-sixth of all global deaths, with breast, lung, colon, rectum, and prostate cancers being the most prevalent types. Our team is focused on developing innovative therapeutic strategies, purpose-built in-vitro models and advanced assays to pave the way for the next generation of cancer-targeting drugs, within a company dedicated to improving human health and finding novel treatments for current and future patients.
As an intern in our team, you will have the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research using techniques such as genome editing, advanced microscopy and image analysis tools, cell culture and cell line generation, applied to the field of mRNA therapeutics. This internship will enable you to contribute to critical cancer research and allow you to learn and apply the most recent scientific techniques, within a leading global healthcare organization.
Project description
The primary objective of this project is to explore and assess the advantages of genome editing applied to mRNA therapeutics strategies developed by our team. The successful candidate will apply advanced vector designs to express constructs of interest (e.g. reporters, payloads…) and select desired attributes (expression levels, homogeneity, stability, SNR) for use in mRNA therapeutic applications.
