JOB SUMMARY
Join our team of curious researchers who perform complex economic, legal and tax policy research. The Minnesota Department of Revenue seeks a Research Librarian. The Research Librarian works in the Tax Research Division and provides high-level reference services to Department of Revenue employees in a professional, non-partisan manner. The librarian is responsible for managing the library’s physical collection, online catalog and subscription services for the department. This is a solo librarian position and operates with considerable independence and autonomy. Through collaboration with other state government libraries, the position encourages knowledge and resource sharing as well and mentorship growth opportunities.

This position works in Stassen Office Building, Saint Paul and may have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule up to 50% telework under HR/LR Policy #1422. The incumbent will be expected to maintain regular in-person office hours as determined necessary for providing services to library customers.
The start date overlaps for training with retiring librarian.
**Please note, interviews for this position will be in person at the Stassen office building located at 600 Robert St N, St. Paul, MN 55146
