Description
Edelman is a voice synonymous with trust, reimagining a future where the currency of communication is action. Our culture thrives on three promises: boldness is possibility, empathy is progress, and curiosity is momentum. At Edelman, we understand diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) transform our colleagues, our company, our clients, and our communities. We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging. The opportunity: We are looking for you or maybe someone you know… Are you curious by nature? Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset to work like a consultant? Do you get excited by the power of AI to transform how research is done? Are you a method-agnostic thinker who loves blending traditional rigour with next-gen tools? Do you believe in making data more actionable, more automated, and more valuable? If so, Edelman DXI is looking for you. We are seeking a Consultant (Integrated Insights) who brings strong research fundamentals, project management skills, and the ability to confidently manage clients, and turn insight into influence. You’ll work across primary, secondary, and AI-powered methodologies— managing complex projects from proposal writing through to final deliverables and day-to-day client engagement. This is not just a traditional researcher role — it’s a role for someone excited to shape the future of research: combining classic rigour with AI-powered efficiency, embedding insights into strategic communications, and helping evolve our most forward-looking offers — from Trust and Measurement to Content and Executive Intelligence. The Role of Consultant (Integrated Insights) As a Consultant, you’ll be expected to confidently lead research engagements from scoping to delivery — managing stakeholders, timelines, and outputs with minimal oversight. You’ll work across methods (quant, qual, secondary) and be encouraged to embed AI tools into everyday delivery. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with the opportunity to develop and sharpen your skills in project leadership, strategic storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration. We are also open to candidates with deeper experience and stronger leadership qualities for consideration as a Senior Consultant, who will additionally support offer development, capability building, and client growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead all stages of research projects — from kick-off to debrief — across primary, secondary, and AI-enabled methodologies. Acquire new skills through both on-the-job exposure and targeted trainings to progressively lead integrated craft projects. Own day-to-day project execution: manage internal resources, direct junior team members, and coordinate third-party partners as needed. Translate client objectives into research designs that are efficient, method-neutral, and aligned with business outcomes. Deliver work on time, on budget, and on brief — using smart tooling and scalable workflows where possible. Leverage AI-enabled workflows (e.g. sentiment clustering, dashboard storytelling) to interpret findings — rather than relying on manual scripting or tab-reading. Build and deliver clear, insight-rich narratives that go beyond data — helping clients understand the “so what” and “now what” with confidence and clarity. Provide coaching and feedback to junior team members and help embed a culture of continuous learning and experimentation. Collaborate with other markets to co-develop, test, and scale future-ready client offers. The Ideal Profile 4 to 7 years of experience in research, insights, or consulting roles across primary and/or secondary methods. Candidates with deeper experience or exceptional qualities will be considered for Senior Consultant. Highly organised and self-directed, with strong prioritisation skills and a focus on delivering high-quality outputs across multiple workstreams. Brings an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership — takes initiative, challenges the status quo, and helps shape smarter, more efficient ways of working. Proven ability to independently manage projects — balancing tight timelines, evolving briefs, and cross-functional collaboration within scope and budget. Proven ability to independently manage multi-method projects — balancing tight timelines, evolving briefs, and cross-functional collaboration within scope and budget. Positive, collaborative, and committed to coaching others — a ‘can do’ team player who contributes actively to a culture of learning, experimentation, and shared excellence. Demonstrates structured, rigorous thinking – delivering outputs with clarity, accuracy, and a strong balance of insight narrative and visual design. Strong communication and presentation skills — able to distill complex data into compelling, actionable stories for clients and stakeholders. Additional Skills That Set You Apart Familiarity with data connectors/APIs, or experience working alongside tech teams to enable end-to-end dashboard delivery. Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio — with the ability to connect data sources and automate insight flows. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
