OVERVIEW
We are a large, forward-thinking GP practice in Oxford, caring for approximately 26,000 patients. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Research Nurse/Research Practitioner to support the delivery of clinical research within our practice. The role is based primarily at Kennington Health Centre, with flexibility to work at Manor Surgery as required.
You will play a key role in supporting our participation in a wide range of primary care research studies, working closely with clinicians and external research networks such as the NIHR Clinical Research Network. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in improving patient care and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, who is methodical and passionate about research in healthcare. Prior experience in research is desirable but not essential—we welcome applications from nurses or other registered healthcare professionals (e.g. paramedic, pharmacist) who are interested in developing a career in clinical research and are willing to undergo training.
We are a high achieving practice year on year for QOF and achieved Good across the board in our last CQC inspection. We are a training practice with a strong focus on education and encourage and support personal development.
Hours and salary are negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
