OVERVIEW

Our team of researchers specialises in policy support, assessment and intervention research for persons with diverse needs (disabilities/vulnerabilities) using implementation, evaluation, measurement, and data sciences to create impactful outcomes. We work on government funded projects that aim to evaluate & provide recommendations on new social services & programs for people with diverse needs. As part of the work, there will be plenty of opportunities to work together with different partners specialising in policy and implementation.
As a Research Officer with CPH, you will collaborate closely with your supervisor and a dynamic team of researchers. You will play a key role in supporting and conducting research activities that drive meaningful change and improve services for those with diverse needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Educational qualifications
    A recognised Bachelor (with Honours) in Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or Implementation and Evaluation Science
  2. Knowledge & Experience
  • Familiarity in implementation & evaluation (e.g., process, outcomes) sciences, measurement, data analyses & project management, mixed methods research methodology
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft office, statistical programmes (e.g., SPSS, JASP, R, Python) and qualitative research software (e.g., nVivo, Atlas.TI)
  • [Preferred] At least 2 years of relevant experience in carrying out research projects
  • [Preferred] Experience with online survey administration platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, FormSG)[Preferred] Experience with facilitation of focus group discussion & thematic analysis

Responsibilities
  1. Participate in the entire research cycle of the project
  • Conduct literature review
  • Plan and implement measures to investigate the research questionsData collection, data management, analyses (incl. interpretations and explanations), etc

    1. Translate project results to policies/programmes
      Draft, prepare and present written reports or presentations to funders and stakeholders

  1. Provide and share research training & consultancy internally and externally
  • Share learning from attending courses related to your work (e.g., statistics/research)Engage in peer support and knowledge sharing to other team members

  • Attend CPH meetings and events when necessary
  • Draft, prepare and submit reports or other deliverables as required promptly
  • Build and maintain good rapports with internal and external stakeholdersCarry out any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer/Leadership Team
