ABOUT YOU

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:

  • Interest in financial markets.
  • 3rd Level Degree.
  • One-year experience in broadly similar role.
  • Excellent information technology capability, including a high level of competence in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word).
  • Knowledge of, and experience in financial systems, including FactSet, Partners, Datastream and Bloomberg a distinct advantage but not essential.
  • CRM systems experience also beneficial.
  • Strong customer/client focus.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues and deadlines at once while dealing with changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with ability to see the big picture.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A very strong work ethic with proven experience of working in a team environment.
  • Highly motivated and progressive with constant desire to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Research Operations Team. In the role, the successful candidate will:

  • Data integrity – all data is updated and distributed correctly – issues are identified and resolved quickly with all relevant parties notified and where necessary escalated.
  • Manage and distribute analysts forecasts, ratings and price targets to third-party data providers and audit of same.
  • Produce, maintain and develop internal data centric products.
  • Timely publication and distribution of Davy research products to market ensuring all house standards, styles and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Deal effectively and courteously with all client (internal and external) requests providing technical support to analysts where/when required.
  • Data management and maintenance – ensuring data integrity, including the updating of underlying data, distribution of Davy estimates to third-parties and production of internal data products.
  • Publishing and distribution of the written Davy Research product on in-house and third-party platforms ensuring regulatory disclosures and compliance requirements are met.
  • Deal efficiently and professionally with all client (internal and external) requests and provide any necessary support to research analysts.
