Drs. Phillips and Coffman at the WPH Department of Psychiatry are adding a Research Operations Principal Sr position to the collaborative research group. Dr. Phillips directs the Center for Neural Circuit-Based Technology Interventions in Psychiatry (CNCTI-P) and Dr. Coffman directs the Clinical Neurophysiology Research Laboratory, both comprised of a talented group of psychiatry faculty, postdoctoral associates, students, and staff, dedicated to better understanding the neural circuitry underlying mood, substance and anxiety disorders using multimodal imaging and EEG techniques. The Research Operations Principal Sr will be responsible for analyzing all EEG data collected on projects in Drs. Phillips’ and Coffman’s laboratories, and preparing manuscripts for publication. This position is grant funded. Responsibilities: Mentor, train, and oversee ongoing training and supervising junior research staff. Follow appropriate research policies and procedures including all applicable laws and regulations and maintain scientific integrity including accurate data storage and management. Revise, renew and maintain IRB approval, protocols and consent forms for studies. Provide advanced level research and/or clinical and administrative support for the research lab including preparing and presenting presentations, managing, pulling, analyzing and interpreting data, collaborating with principal investigators on manuscripts and grant application submissions. Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelors degree required preferably in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, Sociology, or related research field with a minimum of seven years of work experience in a research project and/or related clinical research lab setting is required. OR Masters degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, Sociology, or related research field with a minimum of two years of work experience in a research project and/or related clinical research lab setting is required. Familiarity with computers and common software packages required. Working knowledge of research method required. Prior training experience preferred.
