Role Overview: The Research & Portfolio Support Analyst plays a crucial role in providing analytical and research support to the investment team. This role focuses on research, data crunching, report as well as presentation preparation, and basic data analysis, enabling senior analysts and investment professionals to focus on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in data analytics, and capable of delivering accurate and timely results. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting Collect, organize, and analyze financial and operational data from various sources. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing key findings and insights. Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and variances. Assist in the development and maintenance of databases and data repositories. Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous quality checks. Investment & Portfolio Support: Provide analytical support to the investment team during due diligence and deal execution processes. Assist in the preparation of financial models and valuation analyses. Support portfolio companies with data analysis and reporting requirements. Conduct market, industry, and consumer research to support investment decisions and portfolio management. Assist in the preparation of materials for investment committee meetings and portfolio reviews. Ad-Hoc Support: Prepare materials for annual general meetings (AGMs), investor presentations, and other stakeholder communications. Assist in the creation of pitch books and investment memorandums. Undertake various ad-hoc research, monitoring, coordination, and administrative duties, such as collecting internal information and ensuring timely follow-up Provide support to the team in the management and coordination of external vendors for ad-hoc projects, which may include designers, event organizers, and other outsourced service providers Role Requirements: Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation techniques. Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data from various sources. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic understanding of financial concepts and investment principles. Willingness to commit to a 1 year contract. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative field Demonstrated ability to perform data crunching and report preparation. Familiarity with financial databases and research tools is a plus.
