Description
The Hildebrandt lab within the Department of Psychiatry is seeking a part time Research Principal Sr to conduct analyses of pre-clinical data, manage laboratory data, and develop additional analysis pipelines. This position is grant funded. Responsibilities: Mentor, train, and assist with supervising junior research staff. Provide advanced level research and/or clinical and administrative support for the research study including preparing and presenting presentations, analyzing and interpreting data, collaborating with principal investigator on manuscripts, scientific articles, and grant submissions. Masters degree required preferably in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, Sociology, or related research field with a minimum of three years of work experience in a research project and/or related clinical setting is required. OR PHD in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, Sociology, or related research field with a minimum of one year of work experience in a research project and/or related clinical setting is required. Familiarity with computers and common software packages required. Working knowledge of research methodology required. Experience in rodent behavioral experiments preferred.
