Job Description Lead Groundbreaking Pancreatic Cancer Research – Join Epworth HealthCare Employment Type: Full-time, Fixed Term About the Role We are seeking an experienced Research Program Manager to lead and manage research programs within the Jreissati Family Pancreatic Centre at Epworth. This pivotal role will drive world-class research into pancreatic cancer, working closely with clinicians, researchers, and collaborators to design and deliver high-quality research projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute project plans for research programs. Oversee study finances, budgets, invoices, and payments. Supervise research staff and students (up to 12 direct reports). Ensure compliance with ICH GCP, TGA guidelines, and NHMRC standards. Prepare grant applications and assist with fundraising strategies. Build collaborative networks and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Promote research excellence through publications, conferences, and education. About You To be successful, you will have: A relevant tertiary qualification in science, health care, or related field. Demonstrated experience in clinical trials and research project management. Knowledge of research ethics, governance, and grant funding processes. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Extra qualifications in clinical research competency (e.g. GCP, GD, A-CTEC training, etc) Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field. Experience in pancreatic cancer clinical trials.
