THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced research support professional to contribute towards the delivery of research projects focussing on the use of routine healthcare data to address major healthcare needs.
The role will support the Antiretroviral Therapy Cohort Collaboration (ART-CC), a research collaboration of twenty cohorts of people with HIV in Western Europe and North America, and a recently awarded NIHR programme grant to develop, evaluate and apply methods to evaluate respiratory vaccine effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Both projects are led by Professor Jonathan Sterne at the University of Bristol, and involve collaboration with other research groups within the University, as well as with wider teams of national and international research collaborators.
Flexible hybrid working possible, with in-office presence on Tuesdays advantageous.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The role will work alongside research leads to ensure successful delivery of project work plans. The post-holder will be responsible for the effective management of all financial, administrative and contractual issues relating to the projects.
The post-holder will coordinate project budgets and contracts, monitor project spend, prepare project documentation, collate information for reports, and assist with monitoring progress against objectives. They will also organise and support a range of meetings and events, support procurement, and complete other tasks required in the provision of a professional administrative support service.
