ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of the Research Institute, the Research & Project Operations Coordinator will have the opportunity to support both the Research Institute and Client Services divisions. Success in this role will see you drive operational effectiveness and make a meaningful impact across functions in a dynamic research environment.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Monitor and report on team resourcing and supporting the allocation of team members across projects, ensuring delivery is efficient and well-coordinated;
  • Support business development activities, including the preparation of proposal and tender responses and tracking outcomes of the same;
  • Coordinate issue management and process improvement actions ensuring they are documented, escalated and followed through by the appropriate stakeholder(s);
  • Develop and maintain documentation systems such as internal registers and version-controlled files;
  • Assist in the preparation of key business reports, including quarterly management reporting.

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in project coordination, operations or business support roles, ideally within research, professional services or consulting environments;
  • A high level of initiative and the confidence to engage with a range of external stakeholders to ensure actions and deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment;
  • The ability to document, analyse and communicate information clearly and professionally;
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with a track record of delivering consistent, high-quality outputs;
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset: a self-starter who actively seeks opportunities, proposes solutions, and thrives on continuous improvement;
  • The ability to balance autonomy with collaboration - you know when to act independently and when to escalate or align;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, across Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint and Planner
