Responsibilities

The Department of Medical Physics at Westmead Hospital is the largest Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physics Department in NSW. You will be part of a collaborative team with access to a wide range of physics resources and imaging modalities.
This unique role supports multidisciplinary research in radiation therapy, focusing on translational development in treatment planning and imaging, including particle therapy, with the goal of advancing clinical practice.

As the Medical Physics Specialist in this role you will be:

  • Supporting research under senior ROMP leadership.
  • Focusing on translational techniques in radiation therapy.
  • Contributing to imaging and treatment planning innovations.
  • Working on innovative ways to to implement new methods into clinical workflows.
  • Applying your knowledge with strong research and leadership skills suited to ROMPs.
