We are currently seeking a highly motivated and innovative Research Scientist in Bioinformatics to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in bioinformatics, computational biology, and molecular biology to drive novel research initiatives, helping us better understand skin biology and advance state-of-the-art skin care solutions.
In your role as a Research Scientist Bioinformatics, you will:

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced computational approaches for analyzing high-throughput omics datasets (e.g., transcriptomics, proteomics, and genomics).
  • Apply cutting-edge statistical, computational, and machine learning methods to uncover novel insights into skin biology, health, and disease mechanisms.
  • Design and conduct computational experiments in collaboration with wet-lab scientists, integrating diverse datasets to generate actionable biological hypotheses.
  • Publish and present research findings at scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to Beiersdorf’s reputation as a leader in dermatological research.
  • Ensure the robustness, reproducibility, and transparency of computational workflows while maintaining the highest standards of scientific rigor and data integrity.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in bioinformatics, molecular biology, and computational techniques, actively applying these to ongoing and future projects.
