Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in risk analysis and statistical modelling of complex actuarial data
  • Plan quality research, project managing the scientific activity and supervising the research team in cooperation with the Professor
  • Conduct, on own initiative, research and/or develop own research projects in the above mentioned area
  • Identify, apply for and manage research funding as well as allocate project resources
  • Research dissemination at international conferences and to the actuarial industry
  • Teaching activity of up to 90 hours per year in the new Master of Actuarial Science, hereby developing new courses for the Master
  • Contribute to student assessment activities, including writing and reviewing assignments and questions for course components
  • Supervise master students carrying out practical work
  • May participate in dissertation supervisory committees
  • Active participation in and support of the organization of the activities of the research group Team MIDAS and of DMATH
