Description

Interested in an opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse team at the Wildlife Health Laboratory. Learn more about this unique limited-term position! Under the supervision of the Environmental Program Manager I of the Wildlife Health Laboratory (WHL) the incumbent will apply epidemiologic and biostatistical methods to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform public health and wildlife management decisions. This position supports statewide wildlife disease surveillance programs, with a primary focus on Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) [federal grant funded project (G2598036)]. This role integrates epidemiologic research, field operations, laboratory coordination, and stakeholder engagement to inform science-based management of game species health. The incumbent applies statistical and geospatial tools to analyze surveillance data, leads training and sampling efforts, and contributes to collaborative research and outreach initiatives.

This is a full-time limited term position for 2 years, 40 hours/week position. The position may be extended or become permanent.
