Responsibilities

The research scientist will be appointed to the university on a full-time basis and will have a participatory
role in building and coordinating Midwifery education and research under the direct supervision of Pr. Ghanchi. This academic position will have responsibilities split between teaching, research and administrative duties, with a primary focus on teaching duties. Involvement in professional clinical activity may be considered.
Teaching:
The holder of this position is expected to assist with the development and teaching in the Bachelor’s programs in health (midwifery sciences, nursing sciences, medicine), with a primary focus on the four year Midwifery Sciences Bachelor program. The holder will be involved in the selection of students, the establishment of the training plan, preparation and teaching of midwifery students, coordination and organization of theoretical and practical teaching, the evaluation of course, in close cooperation with the Midwifery Sciences Study director, teachers and tutors of the clinical placements. Participation in student dissertation supervisory committees
Research:
The holder of this position will have the possibility to develop research projects according to his/her expertise and interests that are within the scope of the Midwifery Sciences research laboratory activities. Research in collaboration with internal partners from the various Faculties and Interdisciplinary Centres, as well as with national and international partners will be encouraged
Administrative duties:
The holder of this position is expected to assist with administrative duties for the development of other teaching activities in Midwifery Sciences and future health programs
