Description
Meta Reality Labs focuses on delivering Meta's vision through Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). In this project, we will seek to develop highly realistic digital characters with lifelike and expressive movement. Our approach will apply auto-regressive generative models to fundamental motion problems spanning animation, vision, and robotics. We are seeking exceptional interns with appropriate background and experience to join our team for internships between twelve (12) and twenty-four (24) weeks. Responsibilities Analyze, adapt, and evaluate current state-of-the-art models Research and develop new models and prototypes Share findings with other researchers across disciplines Present the outcomes of research findings as papers in top tier conferences Minimum Qualifications Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field 2+ years of research experience in Computer Animation, Computer Vision, or Deep Learning Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with applying deep networks to video or motion analysis or synthesis Passion for complex temporal phenomena such as human and animal motion Proven track record of achieving results as demonstrated in accepted papers at top computer vision, graphics, machine learning or robotics related journals and conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, RSS, or SIGGRAPH $7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits
Responsibilities
The intern will analyze, adapt, and evaluate current models while researching and developing new models and prototypes. They will also share findings with other researchers and present outcomes at top-tier conferences.
