VACANCY SUMMARY

This role will require travel commitments between Dublin, Ireland and Purdue, US.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Research Scientist in this role will: (i) conduct independent research related to the lyophilization of biologics and the development of digital twin models for that process, in collaboration with Purdue University’s LyoHUB and I-FORM, with support from I-FORM, (ii) contribute to other projects in the Formulation and Stability group, including assisting in other research projects, participating in regular meetings with the PI, maintaining and upgrading laboratory equipment, and informing the PI of any lab issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct independent research related to the lyophilization of biologics and the development of digital twin models for that process under the direction of the PI.
• Provide on-site support for other members of the Formulation and Stability group as described above.
• Participate in maintaining lab equipment and infrastructure, including recommending and requesting new instruments as opportunities arise (e.g., CapEx).
