JOB SUMMARY

As a Medical Imaging Research Scientist for our Toxicology team located in Laval, you will be responsible for developing, conducting and interpretating of medical imaging research applications. You will also be overseeing study conduct of preclinical efficacy and/or toxicology studies. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop medical imaging applications including acquisition and analysis for non-clinical research projects in collaboration with various departmental representatives;
  • Conduct non-clinical medical imaging research projects and undertake interpretation in multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Discuss with prospective and current clients to identify and design suitable imaging solutions for research needs and support commercial groups in the preparation of statement of work.
  • Function as an independent Study Director in accordance with the applicable Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs);
  • Designs, writes, reviews and edits, as necessary, Study Plans, amendments and study schedules that define and schedule all study activities;
  • Oversees and coordinates all aspects of study procedures, whether performed within the department or by service departments;
  • Ensures that projects are performed according to Standard Operating Procedures and Good Laboratory Practice regulations and is aware of appropriate regulations, guidelines and guidances;
  • Writes, reviews, and edits, as necessary, draft or final reports that document all study related procedures and results;
  • Prompt verbal or written communication with Sponsors on study related business;
  • Oversees and coordinates study conduct (protocol development, technical guidance, and reporting).

KEY ELEMENTS

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role :

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Medical Imaging or any other related discipline;
  • Experience related to MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and theoretical & practical knowledge of the subject are required;
  • Technical certificate in MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is an asset;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities

ROLE SPECIFIC INFORMATION:

  • Location: 445 Boul. Armand-Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3;

  • Transportation: Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station;

  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:15 pm;
  • Hybrid position – half on-site & half remote;
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
