REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PhD with broad expertise in muscle metabolism, aging and/or disease-related (e.g. cancer, diabetes, obesity) metabolic dysfunction. Experience in nutrition is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including at least 2 years of postdoctoral research experience or equivalent industry experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex science concepts to a non-science audience.
  • Expertise in Microsoft office apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), GraphPad PRISM, or other programs for data analysis, Endnotes or Reference manager. Experience using artificial intelligence tools a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with desire and ability to work within a highly collaborative environment; closely collaborate with global teams and internal stake holder. Network and work collaboratively with the external scientific community and key opinion leaders in the field.
  • Proven ability to work independently: proactive self-starter with strong project leadership, research, and publication/scientific writing skills.
  • Requires knowledge and experience in more than one of the following areas: molecular biology, biochemistry, human physiology, nutrition.
  • Minimum of 5 years basic or applied research, clinical, industry, and/or academic experience that blends science and business preferred.
