Description

A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Fellow to support research work under the project “Urban Sustainability” which aims to develop a suite of techniques for efficiently and effectively building new digital infrastructure of city scenes, managing all city data in a high definition and 3D/4D referencing system, and performing simulation, interaction, and analysis on the digital twin city model.
We are looking for a Research Scientist to work on the simulation aspect of the project, focusing on i) data-driven model creation and auto-calibration of agent-based simulations; ii) dynamic creation of simulation instances for providing modelling and simulation as service on the Cloud; and iii) speeding-up and scaling-up agent-based simulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • PhD degree in computer science or related field
  • Strong scientific publication record
  • Familiarity with discrete-event modelling and simulation and data-driven applications
  • Excellent programming skills and experience in large system development
  • Ability to work independently and with a large team
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
