We provide a cooperative and communication-oriented environment in the Computational Cardiac Modeling Group at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and direct involvement in cutting edge research projects as a Research Software Engineer.
You completed a PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field? You have experience in parallel programming (GPU and/or distributed memory), care about your work and are motivated to work in a multidisciplinary team, have good communication skills as well as a good command of English?
In the best case, you have experience in some of the following areas: modeling & simulation of cardiac electrophysiology (openCARP), numerical linear algebra (PETSc, Ginkgo), high performance computing (MPI, GPU programming, Spack packaging), software design, DevOps, container technology (Docker), open science.
