Research Coordinator, Institute for Global Health & Development Location: Badin, Pakistan. This a grant funded contractual position. Responsibilities You will be responsible to supervise project activities related to field and data management to ensure quality control, while maintaining good working relationship with staff, community and various stakeholders involved. Specific responsibilities will be to: supervise and monitor survey-related field activities, ensure proper identification and registration of research subject as per study protocols, supervise and monitor domiciliary visits hire study staff and provide training to them as per the protocols and guidelines of study develop high quality research proposals for funding agency prepare and compile periodic study progress reports and present the study results as per the requirements support the Manager in obtaining permissions from provincial health and administrative authorities for survey implementation develop and share operational plan for training, data collection and monitoring liaison with key partners for monitoring activities in different field operations and perform monitoring visits to ensure data quality identify logistics for survey teams with the support of AKU line departments delegate tasks between teams for various project activities coordinate with data management unit for data related issues and updates, prepare and submit daily progress reports of all teams to the supervisor. Requirements You should have: at least a Master’s degree in Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health Policy & Management, Public Health, Healthcare Management, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology or any other relevant discipline at least three years of relevant experience at management level, preferably in healthcare or research organization of good repute comprehensive knowledge of modern research tools and techniques excellent project management skills including ability to lead work force and manage resources effectively strong management and supervision skills excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to present complex ideas and information in clear and meaningful form to various stakeholders excellent ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under work pressure willingness for extensive travelling to various field sites for monitoring and supervision.
