Introduction: The Outreach and Research Program of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level. Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities include to: contribute to study design, protocol development, and statistical analysis planning perform sample size estimation, subject randomization, and database structuring manage, clean, and verify research data to ensure accuracy and completeness prepare derived datasets and perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses using statistical software supervise data entry processes and conduct quality control checks on collected data generate tables, figures, and statistical outputs for reports and publications support manuscript preparation and correspondence with journals on statistical matters provide statistical support and guidance to research teams, residents, and faculty members Requirements: You should have: Master’s degree in Statistics, preferably with additional certification at least three to four years of relevant experience in research or Public Health settings excellent command of statistical software such as Stata, R, and SPSS strong knowledge of data management, databases, and programming concepts proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation strong academic writing skills, including preparation of statistical analysis plans ability to explain statistical concepts clearly to non‑statistical audiences excellent verbal and written communication skills integrity and strong research ethics.
