We are looking for a Research Support Officer to join our established Research Support Office (RSO) within the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Governance. You will support academics in all stages of their career in applying for national and international grants and subsidies. This means that you strengthen our scientific programme, explore and realise new funding opportunities, and contribute to the success of the Department of Law.

Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for all RSO support to the Department of Law with respect to research proposals and funding-related queries.
  • You manage the submission process of all research applications of >€20k, including, but not limited to, budgeting, providing feedback on proposals, and ensuring adherence to funders terms and conditions.
  • You work closely with departmental colleagues, project controllers and policy officers to optimise support for both pre- and post-award processes and to develop and streamline workflows.
  • You develop and host writing workshops, pitch trainings, and chair mock interviews for applicants
