Description

The School of Psychology & Neuroscience is seeking to appoint a part-time (18.125 hours per week) Research Support Technician to join the technical team in the School at the University of St Andrews. This is a standard appointment with a start date as soon as practicably possible.
The successful candidate will be a professional committed to facilitating high-quality research in the Schools. They will be a proactive member of the technical support team, primarily playing a role in the care of two of the species of animal studied - the zebrafish (Danio rerio) and fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster). Candidates should hold or be near completion of a NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent and have approximately 2 years’ experience in a similar post
