Job Purpose:
Internal job title: Survey Data Analyst (Volunteering Delivery)
Salary: £32,427 Full time Equivalent + benefits
Location: Remote working with a requirement to attend face-to-face events to connect with volunteers and conduct surveys.
Contract: Permanent, part time.
Hours: 14.5 hours per week, preferably across 2 days a week. Occasional weekend working may be required in order to support volunteering, and other, events. *The regularity and flexibility of travel will be discussed further at interview stage *

The Insigths and Economics Team seats within the Strategy and Impact Directorate. The team produces innovative research about the value of the multi-dimensional benefits that waterways deliver to the economy, society, and the environment. This work is informed by different data sources, including the surveys in which the Survey Data Analyst will be working to deliver. The team also detects patterns in how different audiences engage with waterways and with the Trust to help shape the strategy of the organisation. The team is composed by the Insights and Economics Manager, the Insights Specialist, the Economist, and the Data engineer.
The Survey Data Analyst is central to informing the strategic choices, evaluating the success’ and proving the value of the work the Trust undertakes. We support decision makers to make informed choices with robust and thoughtful evidence, through managing research programs, collating and analysing data and applying the latest economic techniques to communicate our value to funders, partners and government.
