Responsibilities
  • Providing technical assistance to supporting development and validation of novel methods in vector control
  • Conducting standard and new bioassays for evaluating vector control products
  • Supporting mosquito rearing and maintenance of mosquito colonies
  • Preparing and maintaining laboratory records, and assisting with the analysis and interpretation of data
  • Contributing to the preparation of reports and publications for funders and scientific journals
  • Collaborating on the design and optimisation of testing equipment and experimental approaches
  • Contributing to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments
  • Assisting in the logistics of transporting samples and materials between international partners
  • Compiling and analysing data using Excel, GraphPad Prism, R or other appropriate software
  • Presenting data and progress updates in written reports and PowerPoint presentations
