JOB SUMMARY

As a Research Technician Assistant, you will have the opportunity to care for all species of animals at our state-of-the-art safety sites. You will learn new skills ranging from animal care and handling of laboratory animals, perform clinical observations, blood collection, drug dosing, and perform accurate data collection and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• 0–6 months of related experience (animal care or research preferred)
• Ability to handle common lab animals
• Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently

• Provide daily care for laboratory animals of various species
• Perform clinical observations, blood collection, and drug dosing
• Accurately record and report study data
• Learn and follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
