POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The person will: Perform a moderate number of simple or moderate technical procedures, including participation in animal colony management; histology experiments (sectioning, staining, imaging) and review of behavior video analysis; Require occasional guidance; Occasionally be responsible for ordering routine supplies; Rarely modify technical procedures; Rarely train other lab members; Rarely guide other lab members; A simple / limited understanding of scientific literature and the research goals and rationale is required; Occasionally analyze data; Rarely interpret data; Rarely make written contributions to papers and grant proposals. QUALIFICATIONS BS degree in science related field, and 0 to 2 years of related experience; some prior laboratory experience preferred Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract. Hiring Rate 26.80 Post Probationary Rate 27.33 Job Rate 28.18 Minimum Salary Range Maximum Salary Range USD $28.18/Hr.
