Summary: Receives direct supervision, and works within well-defined guidelines. Performs routine technical tasks requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school or GED.

Performs data collection, and reporting in support of research professional/faculty projects.
Calculates data in support of project and test hypotheses associated with project; produces charts and graphs to display trends in data.
Collects data base done on established procedures/mediums, performs data entry functions, and computerizes spreadsheets and databases.
Maintains records, labs, and equipment related to assigned projects.
Operates, adjusts, calibrates, and assembles equipment.
Reads, records, and tabulates instrument data.
Collects specimens and/or samples.
May order laboratory equipment and supplies
Inventories and stocks laboratory areas as required.
Maintains basic understanding of survey procedures and stays abreast of applicable technologies.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.
Complies with all State and University policies.
Other duties may be assigned.
