EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma / GED Required
  • Associate’s Degree Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least one (1) year of related classroom experience or successful completion of a technical training program (eg. Wistar, WPSI) and research laboratory experience Required
  • At least two (2) years of related classroom experience or successful completion of a technical training program (eg. Wistar, WPSI) and research laboratory experience Preferred
  • Experience in aseptic mammalian tissue culture Required
  • Familiarity with multi-color flow cytometry and ELISA Preferred.
  • Mouse handling and specimen collection skills Preferred

  • Ability to follow complex lab protocols and adapt to evolving research needs.
  • Working independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and media.
  • Conduct a variety of research laboratory experiments according to established protocols using human-derived tissue samples and may require mouse handling.
  • Process patient samples for cryopreservation in Biobank.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data using appropriate software and make concise written and oral presentation of results.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate and detailed laboratory records.
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
