Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Applications are invited for an enthusiastic, hardworking and organised Research Technician to work in the Cancer Immunology Unit within the groups of Professor Sergio Quezada.
The applicant will have the opportunity to help investigate the role of the tumour microenvironment (TME) in in vivo and in vitro cancer models (primarily but not limited to glioblastoma) and how immune modulatory molecules can be used to manipulate the TME. Research will primarily focus on the study and manipulation of co-stimulatory and co-inhibitory pathways in cancer models. The successful candidate will be a part of a collaborative group of scientists and will be expected to actively assist and participate in all aspects of the research, as well as in the basic maintenance of the laboratory.
