Description
Sets up and performs routine and established lab procedures in support of lab goals, grant commitments, i.e. assays, cell/tissue culture, animal studies, etc. Monitors results, reports unusual outcomes and suggests modifications. Collects, enters and summarizes data. Assists in the maintenance of lab equipment and supplies. Performs basic statistical data analysis; prepares tables/charts/graphs and assists in organizing data. Presents at research laboratory meetings and contributes to writing of manuscripts. Works under supervision and may perform some assignments independently as discussed and approved by Principal Investigator. Additional Information:  You will be working alongside a team of data scientists at Mayo Clinic Arizona to design, curate, and populate a large database of human brain data. This is a 1-year position ideal for someone launching their career in neural data science. This project will require database organizational skills including experience with synchronization of multi-modality data. Experience with MATLAB and Python preferred. The applicant should have experience with handling and manipulating biosignal time series data. Prior work with Cloud computing resources such as Google Cloud is preferred. There will be opportunity to learn new skills while moving the project forward. This is an in-person/on-site position on the Phoenix, Arizona campus of Mayo Clinic.  This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship.
