AS RESEARCH TRAINEE, YOU WILL:

  • Design advanced signal processing algorithms to filter and analyse data efficiently.
  • Integrate heterogeneous sensors, embedded hardware, and data processing algorithms to enhance system robustness.
  • Optimize and customize software stacks for automated vehicle perception, positioning, and connectivity.
  • Develop innovative software IP with potential for patenting and future technological advancements.
  • Conduct your master’s thesis work.

We are now looking for a Research Trainee to join our Automated Vehicles team. Join us - and let’s make an impact together!
As a research trainee, your primary goals include developing software for automated vehicle sensing systems and programming functionalities for vehicle controls. The aim is to create software IP that enhances automated vehicle operation in challenging edge cases, such as adverse weather conditions. In this role, the aim is also to conduct your master’s thesis.
Our Automated Vehicle team focuses on enhancing situational awareness and environmental perception in adverse weather by integrating diverse sensors, embedded hardware, and AI-driven data processing to improve robustness and minimize downtime. Additionally, we establish remote operation centres for diagnostics and fleet supervision, ensuring efficient management and maintenance of automated vehicles.
