Job Description Roles & Responsibilities : The focus is set on machine learning applied to solving engineering systems which falls in the domains of fluids/solids/thermal in mechanical engineering. Be part of our team and model mechanical systems accurately and reduce computational cost. You will simulate 1D/2D/3D multi-physics models using numerical simulations, scripting and programming. You combine physics-based models with data-based approaches. You’ll be required to utilize concepts of LLMs and transformers for various applications towards simulation tools You will work in international teams and perform necessary development/implementation to accomplish the tasks. Publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences. Qualifications Educational qualification: MS/M.Tech, PhD from top Indian institutes (IITs, IIITs, IISc etc.) or from top international institutes with good track record of research publications related to: Numerical methods for modelling and simulation solid/fluid/thermal systems AI/ML, Deep learning methods and surrogate modelling Experience : 3+ Mandatory/required Skills : Proficient in Mathematics with solid engineering / physics background. Good knowledge of ordinary and partial differential equations. Sound fundamentals of Numerical methods for modelling and simulation. Sound understanding of Linear algebra. Strong in AI/ML, Deep learning, surrogate modelling methods like Operator Learning, Physics informed machine learning, Reduced order models, tabular foundational models Strong in system identification Understanding of LLMs and transformers Excellent programming skills in python. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Preferred Skills : Experience with simulation tools: Matlab, Simulink, and Ansys will be added advantage.
