ABOUT US
The Munich School of Politics and Public Policy (HfP), with its affiliation to the Technical University of Munich (TUM), deals with the multifaceted interactions between politics, society, business and technology in research, teaching and practice. It was established by the Bavarian State Parliament on the basis of a separate law.
The Chair of European and Global Governance investigates the causes and consequences of delegation of power to international organizations, European integration, multilateral governance, China’s influence in global economic governance, geopolitics, transatlantic relations, and disruptions in politics and technology. Another area of research is on accountability in the digital age. Theoretically, it draws on and combines approaches from international relations, international political economy and European integration theories. Methodologically, it draws on a plurality of approaches, notably qualitative methods.

The successful candidate will be engaging in research and teaching in European and Global Governance, focusing on International Organizations, International Political Economy, or European Integration. This interdisciplinary research at the intersection between European and Global Governance includes joint publications and the preparation of grant applications with Prof. Dr. E. da Conceição-Heldt. Furthermore, the position includes teaching and supervising graduate and undergraduate students as well as support of the chair on administrative, research, and teaching related issues.
