Description

ABOUT US

The Munich School of Politics and Public Policy (HfP), with its affiliation to the Technical University of Munich (TUM), deals with the multifaceted interactions between politics, society, business and technology in research, teaching and practice. It was established by the Bavarian State Parliament on the basis of a separate law.
The Chair of European and Global Governance investigates the causes and consequences of delegation of power to international organizations, European integration, multilateral governance, China’s influence in global economic governance, geopolitics, transatlantic relations, and disruptions in politics and technology. Another area of research is on accountability in the digital age. Theoretically, it draws on and combines approaches from international relations, international political economy and European integration theories. Methodologically, it draws on a plurality of approaches, notably qualitative methods.
