WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE AS A RESEARCHER AND PROJECT LEADER TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW KNOWLEDGE AND SOLUTIONS REGARDING AIR EMISSIONS OF GREENHOUSE GASES, NITROGEN COMPOUNDS, PARTICULATE MATTER, PATHOGENS AND ODOURS FROM LIVESTOCK FARMING?

At Wageningen Livestock Research, within the Emissions & Manure Valorisation department, you will help unravel underlying processes, develop new methods and solutions, and advise governments and other stakeholders. Depending on your expertise and experience, the focus will be on either poultry or dairy cattle. Together with fellow researchers and project leaders, you will contribute to building blocks for a healthy living environment and a sustainable food system.

• Developing research proposals and programmes
• Conducting research and reporting results in scientific papers and articles
• Leading project teams and supervising project or programme implementation
• Acquiring projects and taking initiative in co-creation and entrepreneurship
• Contributing to policy development and advising governmental bodies and other stakeholders
• Supervising PhD candidates
