Researching and implementing quantum communication networks is in the forefront of technological innovation, aiming to enable the reliable transfer and connection of quantum states and ultimately realize a global quantum internet. This emerging field addresses fundamental challenges at theoretical, technological and engineering levels.  We are looking for a talented and motivated PhD student to join our research team and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in quantum communication networks. This position is fixed term, part time, enabling the researcher to achieve significant results to progress towards her/his PhD degree, while strengthening the company's expertise in this disruptive technology.  
Responsibilities
The researcher will perform ground-breaking research and prototyping in free space quantum communication networks, collaborating with international teams. This work aims to have a practical impact on implementing a global quantum internet.
