Description
Control Risks is seeking a Researcher to join its growing Online Threat Intelligence team, based in Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to work in a team of threat intelligence experts and conduct research on open sources and deep and dark web venues and produce bespoke written analysis. Tasks and Responsibilities Research and production • Conduct manual and automated searches to identify threats against our clients and assess their credibility. • Contribute to the production of high quality bespoke written analysis aimed at contextualizing and assessing the threats faced by our clients. • Research new sources of information and develop capabilities to collect and analyse information in support of the team's mission. Consulting responsibilities • Support in the review and delivery of written bespoke work. • Communicate effectively to direct intelligence collection to support and enhance the quality of final deliverables. Essential: • Practical knowledge of open-source intelligence collection and threat analysis. Ability to prepare written reports with strong attention to detail. • Experience in managing time efficiently to successfully meet client deadlines. • Experience in directing, collecting and analysing information, including following leads, in order to produce timely and actionable intelligence. • Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory Preferred: • An understanding of the main themes in the online threat landscape.
Responsibilities
The researcher will conduct manual and automated searches to identify threats against clients and assess their credibility. They will also contribute to producing high-quality bespoke written analysis to contextualize and assess these threats.
