ARE YOU INTERESTED IN EPITAXY OF SEMICONDUCTOR MATERIALS, III-N DEVICES AND LOOKING FOR A NEW JOB OPPORTUNITY IN THE FIELD? WOULD YOU LIKE TO DEVELOP INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES WITH MOTIVATED AND DRIVEN COLLEAGUES WHO ARE TOP EXPERTS IN THEIR FIELD? DO YOU WANT TO BUILD AN EXCELLENT SCIENCE CAREER AND WORK AT THE INTERFACE OF ACADEMY AND INDUSTRY?
VTT is one of the leading applied research organisations in Europe. What unites us are curiosity, a passion for learning and a purpose: to solve the biggest challenges of our time and turn them into sustainable growth and well-being. Our cross-disciplinary community of over 2000 brilliant minds is focused on creating impact through science-based innovation. Get to know us further by exploring VTT’s research infra at VTT World.
We are now looking for Research Scientists for epitaxial growth of III-N semiconductors with a strong background in metal-organic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE) of III-N semiconductors, material science and process integration. As a researcher at VTT, you will have an essential role in developing and carrying out research on advanced semiconductor devices targeted for power electronics. You are expected to identify and solve problems independently and creatively, while working closely and flexibly with a team of experts. You will focus on the growth and characterization III-N films for electrical components. You understand the big picture and over time be able to participate in the concept development.
Our team, nanoelectronics, develop advanced semiconductor nanocomponents targeting beyond power electronics, in-memory neuromorphic computing, and post-CMOS integration. The developments are made in close collaboration with our academic partners along the lines agreed with our industrial partners.
